We have found a new game that we love! On our last trip to Vegas, we brought our friend, Karin, along with us.
She, too, loves her table games. She likes Mississippi mud and High Card Flush. The funny thing is, I didn't start playing until after she left! But I did get to watch her a few times while I was getting used to the game. The whole Magic to the game is that you want to beat the Dealer's flush. So in order to play I have to have at least three cards to your flush. If the dealer has three cards I just want to make sure that I have a higher flush and then the dealer. In order for the dealer to play, they have to have at least a nine high. If they do not have a 9 high then my raise will get pushed back. But I could still win on my ante, and flush and straight flush bonus bets.
I am going to refer you to the wizard of odds for your advantage plays for this game. Karin only plays if she has queen or higher on her three card flush.
And if I have four or more cards to my flush then I
can go ahead and play it without worrying about a my high card,
As I am hoping that the dealer only has a 3 card flush at that point and I also want her to have the nine high so that I can also win on my raise to get in. So typically it's going to cost me about $20 just to play. $10 for my ante and then $5 for each side bet. Then, if the dealer is able to play, it will cost me at least 10 more. I do like to play those side bets, because that's where I can really make money on if I have at least a four card flush, or if I have at least three card straight. (To be fair, I could really lose a lot of money placing those side bets as well!) Hey, it's gambling... I can always lose money.. s
So, I never, ever bet more than I can lose. I always go in to the game knowing full well, I may never see that money again. GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY !
